The presentation departs from the traditional approach with its more extensive use of elementary linear algebra and its emphasis on basic geometrical facts rather than machinery or random details.

Worth having as well as follow up reading, or for a more general approach are Spivak's 5-volume suite mostly the first two volumes and Lee's Introduction to Smooth Mamfredo latter I enjoy the most.
